Skipper Smarty enjoyed his debut at Cradley Heath yesterday in the Tony Pagett qualifier - knocking out a couple of locals before falling at the last hurdle to a good block. Still managed to bring a paycheck home tho! Well done Skip.
Local Dragon lads Colin Leishman and Jack Hargreaves had just been edged out in the Morning session.
Peggy faired less well, falling at the first to a Walsall supporter - But the beer was cheap and Smarty had to drive!  Grin Grin

Cheers Peg.

It was indeed a good day, I would recommend it to anyone.

A 2 and a bit hour drive but we recieved a very warm welcome from the brummies and it was a very well organised event with great facilities.

I think we should go down next year in strength and give a very good comp a taste of the Northern touch.

I agree, we should.

These big comps still need support and supporting the big comps will do the game more good.

Like most people I can get 4 in my car so if anyone wants to enter these comps, fill my seats up
