Tameside Rule Revisions 2010 Sunday 24 January 2010 by Keith Robins - Tameside League Secretary Rules & Bylaws;
2. The League shall be managed by a Council consisting of the President, Deputy President, Treasurer, Secretary, Match Secretary, Executive Committee and one delegate from each member club, who shall be entitled to one vote. Meetings shall be held on the first Sunday of the month as arranged at 11.00am, except in February and December when there will be no meeting. Three quarters of the Council shall constitute a quorum.
23. Any alterations or additions to the Rules to be made at the Half Yearly Meeting on the first Sunday in November.
31. All clubs to have a levy of £10.00 included in subscriptions for the Annual Presentation Evening.
Match Rules
4. At all greens with floodlighting. evening matches shall commence at 7.00pm. OTHERWISE Captains must have a full draw for 6.45pm in April, August & September and 7.00pm in May, June & July for evening matches and 2.00pm for afternoon matches, at which time the matches shall commence. Before commencement of match, score cards must be numbered in playing order.
20.Any team only having 9 players to be able to draw out 3 times during the first half of the season, and 3 times in the second half of the season. The opposing Captain to draw, at random, from the first four players on the green. The match card must show which game first for the purpose of averages, as only the first match will go toward the player's average. |

Longdendale Season Ends Sunday 18 October 2009 by Dave Drury - Longdendale Match Secretary The Longdendale Bowling season finally can to a close with the receipt of details of the final result from the George & Dragon A v Hadfield Match.
The Dragon won the match 11pts to 1.5pts ensuring that once again they won the League - CONGRATULATIONS!!
The only loser from the match was unfortunatley Jack Hargreaves (19-21) who was until then leading the averages for the 1st Division, however, this slip let Phil Clapham (Burbage) "steal" it away from him.
